Alfa Romeo F1 Team

The historic Italian brand founded in 1910 has repeatedly taken part in the Formula 1 World Championship. In 1950 – the inaugural year of the Formula 1 Championship – the team triumphed with its driver Nino Farina. The team's history is intertwined with that of the iconic Italian carmaker, which has always been synonymous with elegance and quintessential Italian quality. In 2018, thanks to the efforts of Sergio Marchionne, Alfa Romeo returned to the track as a sponsor of the Sauber team, together forming the Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 Team that competed in the championship until 2023. At their debut behind the wheel of the two cars were drivers Charles Leclerc and Marcus Ericsson, while later among the drivers who followed at Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 Team are names such as Kimi Räikkönen and Robert Kubica. |
